What does your desktop look like?

Hello everyone,

What does your desktop look like? No Linux desktop is the same so I was wondering how you configured your's. Mine is a stock MATE desktop with the Qogir theme. Nothing fancy, just something to get stuff done. Maybe I'll get some ideas of how to spice my desktop up a little.

I blanked out my name in the floating terminal but the rest is untouched. Might be a bit too much spice :P

Nice! I've been trying to imitate that zsh theme in fish for a while now. I see you're a Pink Floyd fan as well, you have good taste.

Well, here's mine. Gentoo with KDE Plasma. The laptop and OS specs are on my profile page, I guess (I'm new here, so I don't know if they show up on posts or not, as I've only seen them on my profile page).

Not to be rude, but what do you mean you deleted BASH?

One doesn't simply delete bash. What exactly were you trying to do when it happened?

I am not sure how you ended up running "sudo apt remove bash", but it was probably similarly to how I ended up deleting the Windows boot loader, by accident. I know of a way to fix that in Gentoo, but it leverages the way you would install Gentoo, so it's a no-go on Pop!_OS sadly.

Here's what I'm talking about if you're curious: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Fix_My_Gentoo

If you want to understand things at least a little better by having some more context: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64
