I have a b250 prime pro, i recently bought new ram, i already had corsair DDR4 2133hz 2x4GB

i bought the same ram with the same chip also 2x4 GB

i installed all 4 sticks of ram into my B250 prime pro mother board and i get a black screen, fans on but no display

i wondered if it was my power supply but i have a 650w so i was a little confused

i switched all sticks around in each slots and still a black screen so i took one stick out and my pc booted so i thought the stick i took out was dead, i switched one of the sticks already in with the so called "dead" stick and it worked again

i cant seem to use all 4 sticks of ram in my pc other wise i get a black screen

i cant fix :(

yes all the sticks and ram slots are working

sorry, what i mean is, did you try running your new sticks and remove the old one? when you bought those new sticks, does it come from a single package?

Yes im 100% sure

seems like compatibility issue to me. if you can test it on to other mobo to see if there is any problem with your DIMM slots.

BTW, when i bought a used 2x4 ram, i was sure that the timings, speed and capacity are the same (check my signature). The only difference between the two is the unit. the first one is Ripjaws and the 2nd hand used RAM is Aegis. before i installed the ram, i turned off the XMP profile on my mobo. right after the installation, my PC didnt boot and stayed at black screen for about 1 minute. I rebooted my PC again and go to BIOS and re-enabled the xmp profile. that works and my RAMs are 100% functioning. why dont you try it? you never mentioned here that you enabled the XMP profile on your rams after you installed them.

Hope this helps.
