Is my Radiator setup the wrong way thus the fridge sound.

I have a unit in my signature and I turned off all my fans zero rpm, nothing spinning and I clearly hear the loud as* sound.  My thermaltake last decade,, the custom wc , the pump was big and made zero noiese.  I just heart trickling water once in a while.

 

On word, only place in my case to store a 280mm is the top,  So I did that.  However one thing the hoses are pointed downward towards the video card then it has to shoot upwards to rad.

 

One thing I can change it to Corsair emblem is correct on the block ,, mine says Corsair upside down,

 What are your temperatures like (especially since you're running it passively cooled)? We should first make sure its working right. Can you not pinpoint what or where exactly the noise is coming from?

If you put your ear next to the PC when its making this noise it should be pretty clear that it is the pump if that's it. When I run Aida64 stability test my 30c idle goes to 50's and 60's c in full load.  Games hover aorund 5c and goes up and down not buy much.

 

I will have to RMA the AIO to corsair and get a new one and this time majure shure the Corsair emblem is not upsdie down.  What do you think suchamoneypit ?  Thanks in advance.

If you're sure the sound is coming from the AIO, and tilting the case around (to move the liquid around in the AIO) doesn't change the pitch of the sound, then you might have to RMA. I had a Fury X with its AIO and if the air in the system pooled on the pump it would get incredibly loud and temps would spike. By tilting the radiator around and moving the air around it completely removed the noise. I truly don't think the emblem orientation would cause the pump to fail or anything, some kits even come with a removable emblem so you can swap its orientation.

Indeed, any air in the pump will make it noisy, try moving it around.

 

Its a problem many encounter, the amount of people who think the D5 pump for example is loud at its max setting (5) is astounding, when in fact its damn near inaudible over even the quietest fans so long as you dont have any air in the system going through the pump.
