Dual Monitors Setup

Hi all,

 

I'm new to the forum and this is my first post

I'm currently owning a MSI WT75 8SM with 8700 and QUADRO P3200.

 

As I work a lot at home I want to setup a dual monitor in order to increase my productivity because I have the need for 2 monitors as I work mainly with 3d models.

 

I don't want to spend that much, probably up to 300$ each monitor.. I wanted to find a budget solution and I prefer 27" monitors. From what I've read I will have to go with a 2k monitor, since 1080p is not good at 27" monitors. 

I hope you guys could give me a hand in choosing my new monitors

Could you stretch the budget up to $350 for each?

 

If so, you can go for Dell - U2717D which are fantastic 1440p 27" monitors.

 

If you can't, then both the Acer - CB271HU and Dell - S2718D are around $300 each.

I'm in Portugal so the U2717D and here is the cheapest of the 3 solutions you gave.

 

I found this one that's around 150usd cheaper than the U2717D.

I think that is a very personal preference. Have you worked with 24" and 27" monitors before? 

I personally use 24" monitors because high pixel density and I don't love huge screens.

...and also my desk can barely fit a 24" so.

I use 24" currently at work. I've never worked it 27" but after working everyday with 24" I guess I wouldn't mind having a bigger screen. I'm also checking some ultrawide options, I guess a 34" will equal two 24" and I won't get the middle bezels interfering

Hi once again guys,

I've found an HP Omen X 35 for around 550$. 

 

I've seen some reviews and my first guess it is that the monitor is not that good... But for half of the price, what do you guys think?
