Yeah I understand what the option is for and as I was saying with or without it enabled it still turbos so I was asking if that was normal.

enhanced multicore performance is NOT turbo boost toggle. Enabling EMCP should lock the all core speed to the single core turbo, practically overclocking the CPU. It's not Intel tech either, locked CPUs or boards with chipset that doesnt support overclocking can't use it.

Hello, Just curious if anyone could tell me if this seems right ? My CPU is set to 3.60 but runs most of the time at 4.7 to 4.9 most of the time. I remember installing somthing called easytuner from Gigabyte when installing the RGB light controller with their ''APP STORE''. I thought maybe that was controlling it but I can't seem to find any gigabyte services running unless they're called somthing else. Then I thought that maybe Task Manager was glitchy? not giving the correct info and checked with HWMonitor and via the bios and got simlar results.

WITH and WITHOUT the Enhanced Multi-Core Preformance On the results are the same I've disabled, enabled and also set it to auto and nothing changed.

Usually on the top end they know too much, rather than how it all works together.  The rarer ones are the ones that just buy it cuz someone said it was the best blah blah blah.

Maybe it's just my experience with car people *shrug*  Too many Porsche and Ferrari guys I know around here.

Btw, be careful in the BIOS messing around.

I guess I thought if you know what Multi Core Enhancement does you know frequencies and cores.  Hence you know what the CPU runs at and how many cores, no?

that's intel turbo boost, doesnt count as overclocking with that enabled. Disable that if you want it to top at 3.6
