I recent;y got a 4k tv to replace my old one as it started to die, the reason i wanted a 4k tv was to see if i could overclock the display for lulz which it won't, but no loss whatever, the thing that is really pissing my off however is windows is flat out being a dick with it.

My old tv was set to 1920x1080 or whatever it is, I had HWinfo set up on my pc monitor to display graphs so I can keep an eye on temps etc while gaming, so on and so forth, but since having a 4k resolution on my TV it just refuses to stay at the size I set it too, it completely breaks the layout everytime I reboot to windows until its a tiny box displaying ... and it's of no use to me. It currently looks like this, but it will carry on resizing until its useless.

How do I fix this issue? Just set both the TV and the monitor to 1920x1080? Totally making having the 4k tv pointless? Is there no program I can use to force or lock the goddamn window sizes?

My computer changes the scaling automatically whenever I switch which one is my main display so watch out for that.

I thought that but it has retained it being the main display and 100% scale, I'm unsure what to do now, I can't force HWinfo to stay locked, and one of the main reasons I use it is for the graphs but I can't use that now either. I need to find a solution or a compromise but I'm getting really fed up with the state of software and games these days. This shouldn't be an issue, its 2019, we've had this tech for some time now.... I'm having to find a speedfan alternative because Battle eye anti cheat breaks the software at hardware level, speedfan programmer has thrown a massive tantrum when users bring up issues so he doesn't want to fix them and the last update to that program was 2015 I believe.
