Linux with nvidia and intel gpu at the same time

I just watched the Lunix Gaming Video and it was very interesting and i wanted to test it myself.

 

The Pop"_OS was the one i wanted to test. But there i have to coose between Nvidia or Intel. At the moment i use both, the intel gpu of my cpu and my rtx2080. My 2nd monitor is used for discord, obs or whatever. 

 

Is it possible to do the same with linux? I never used linux before and maybe that isn´t even a issue

Anything you can do on windows, you can do on Linux. Although you will need alternatives to Windows only softwares
