Hi all,

 

My real name is David and I live in Colorado U.S.A.

 

I've been a long time LTT fan and finally decided to take a step to join the forums.

 

I've been at a different forum since 2007 but that one has sadly died and currently has almost no activity. I was also really the only tech person on this particular forum so it was hard to have conversations about tech. This community seems much healthier so I decided to join up. I figured this would be a great place for me to join since it fits my interests and proficiency perfectly.

 

I am a lifelong geek/nerd. Been into building computers and rigging up AV equipment (both home and production grade) since I was just 10 years old.

 

I like software and know some programming but my real passion is for hardware.

 

I am a professional AV Engineer and used to be an IT Technician at my place of employment (I handled level 2 and 3 tickets mostly for PCs). I still build and do computers in my personal life.

 

Anyway, just dropping in to say hi! You guys should be seeing me around here from now on.
