Lakka gamepad issues

so i just repurposed and old pc into a lakka machine for retrogaming, but i cant get my redragon harrow g808 to work.. it recognizes it as shanwan pc/ps3/android and when i go to remap the buttons i can remap everything but the dpad. whenever i tried to remap it in udev drivers, the keyboard i have connected stops working until i disconnect the gamepad dongle and if i change the driver to linuxraw everything maps(still the dpad shows al 4 sides as -4 when mapping) but then it just doesnt do anything at all. im not very savy in this whole emulating thingys and theres not much info.. can anybody help?? maybe i have to change drivers o something
