Is there a difference?

Hi Linus and colleagues, thx for every video you share with use. My question to your team: Is there a performance difference between an el cheapo case and a big high performance case with a couple of big fan’s. How much more performance can you buy for 20, 50, 100 or 200 dollar extra only by buying a different case and fan using the same hardware? Or is this just a cosmetical win?

I hate to disappoint but the likelihood of Linus ever seeing this is pretty much none.

Yeah and its not performance as in FPS, its usability, features, quality of fans, optics and stuff like that.

 

A Dark Base PRO is way better than a random 20€ Case (well, except the Celsius M460 one)...

performance gain? no, not past two intakes and one output fan (barring extra radiator space, etc). Aesthetics, ease of use, construction quality? These things matter a lot, even if they don't impact FPS and temps. You want to be able to build the machine and route cables without pulling your hair out.
