Hello everyone

So this is my first time posting something on here, so bear with me if I make mistakes. I need help with finding a good, fast, quality notebook or 2-1 convertible laptop. I'm very bad when it comes to stuff about electronics. The notebook has to have a touchscreen and should not go over 14 inch of screen. And it would also be cool if it doesn't surpass the 1200$ mark. I have been looking online for some time now but I just don't know how to figure out if a notebook is good or bad. I'm looking forward to using the regular stuff for students like office and so on, but I also want to be able to make a bit of music like recording my guitar. I will not use the notebook for gaming because I have a ps4 for that kind of stuff.

Can you guys help me with finding a good notebook?

With lots of love

Jonathan Kälin

Which country? US?

Since you only need it for school stuff and maybe recording music, you don't exactly need the most powerful laptop out there. Meaning you can pretty much just look at the battery life of the laptop and choose according to that. (of course there are other factors after that... like the amount of storage and whether or not the CPU is a low end dual core or a quad core)

Something like the LG gram or surface pro I suppose?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm actually from switzerland. While I was browsing some notebooks I came across the dell xps 13, Hp spectre x360 and the asus zenbook flip 14. I know that I dont need the most powerful notebook out there but I would just like to buy one with a good price/quality ratio.

But thank you so much for your suggestion and have a nice day.

Budget in your country currency? Any preference on battery life? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradable RAM?

Any links of online stores?
