24" Debezeled Monitors + Modification

Originally I had a 4k 43" TV as my monitor. The lag isn't as noticeable as far as I can tell but it's still 4k at 30hz which is horrible for anything other then browsing and movies.

I aquired 4 - 24inch S241HL Acer monitors. I know these are basic 1080p 60hz display's but didn't care because the price was just way too good when my company moved offices. I had 3 of them set up in LLL Eyefinity for a few days which was different and a bit overwhelming IMO. Only played Borderlands 2 and Boderlands The Pre Sequel briefly.  I was messing around with the idea of running 2 in portrait flanking the 4k in the center but I'm kind of unsure on the mixmatch pixels/resolution with eyefinity (which I can downgrade the 4k to 1080p at 60hz but any comments can be suggested). Then I put them all PPP in a portrait setup and regardless of the fact started debezeling them. Only downfall is the vesa mounts are on the shell and not the display itself so I'll have to figure something out. Sides went from 15.84mm to 10.34mm and the bottom went from 26.29mm to 10.06mm. Side by side with the metal frame it's comes to a total of 21.34mm and stacked comes to about 11.21mm +/-. When I took the metal frame off to paint, I plugged one up just to see how much light leak from the back of the display I saw. How the LCD sits on the backlight is basically a plastic frame with maybe 2mm between the backlight and the LCD. I could pretty much shave off both sides on the middle and 1 side on the outers. And get the LCD's almost right on top of each other. Eliminating 75% of the bezel. The backlights should blend in with each other and not cause issues as it looks but I may be wrong. I would only have to create a custom frame for all 3 to make sure the panels are secure at that point because the metal frame is really the only thing holding all together.

Anyone can point me in the right direction would be very appreciated.

Hopefully I can get my hands on one more monitor and do a 5x1 Eyefinity setup.

Also anyone know if these monitors are locked for over locking as the datasheet states they are capable of up to 75hz just fine.
