I'm Having Issues

Hello i've been having issues with my ethernet port for 5+ days now and its starting to make me mad i have done all that i can do and now starting to look for help.

when i plug my ethernet cord into the port it will detect internet but i will cut out with in seconds there are odd time where it wont and will work for the day.

ive updated the drivers, the cords are new and i dont have money to buy new ones, my extensions are fine. i run a cat5 cable from my router and a cat5e cable to my pc,

ive been doing this for months no problems. What could be the issue or issues?

16Gb DDR3 (Ram)

AMD FX 6300 (CPU)

1TB SeaGate (Hard drive)

850 Watt (Power)

dead ethernet port or chip on the board? Not surprising considering its age.

The Hardware is old. The FX CPUs came out in 2011-2014. Anyway change the Ethernet cable. Seems to me that's the problem.

then it has probably stayed in the box for quite a long time, if not a refurb from the factory. The platform is old that's for sure and they stopped production for quite some time before you buy it.
