RAM Add

Hello. I'm curently running on a computer with: 

RAM : x1 2GB DDR3 1066 Mhz dimm

Motherboard : Something from HP

Processor : Intel Celeron G530 2.40GHz

GPU : Intel HD 784 MB [Processor GPU]

The others i think are useless to say here.

 

Today i bough only one 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz. they're arriving Tuesday and i don't know if it would work with my PC.

Questions:

1.If yes how?

2.If not why?

3.What games i would be able to play with my system?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. Easy enough to test. Turn off system, open the side panel, and install it. Should just turn on and you can check that it's detected properly in task manager. If the system doesn't turn on let us know and we can work from there.

Not a lot I'm afraid. Stardew Valley is pretty fun. Faster Than Light. Portal. Half Life 2. That sort of stuff.

without knowing the board it's hard to say if it'll work or not , just come back tuesday and let us know if theres an issue or not

The RAM arrived. I installed the dimm and it says to me 2.9gb usable, but i have installed 6gb

What i did wrong?
