Task Manager doesn't show power consumption. Can you take a screenshot of what you're seeing in task manager?

Turns out new feature added in 1809. Apparently Windows still hasn't served the October 2018 update to me.

Gaming puts a load on the system, so while gaming the system will consume more power which Task Manager is showing as a high power consumption. Ignore it. Pretty much useless for desktop systems. Only really useful information if you're using a laptop running on battery power and want to know what programs are draining battery.
