Get the Gigabyte B450I AORUS PRO WIFI instead. It's a little cheaper.($30ish less)

No point getting a hybrid drive, just get a Seagate Barracuda 2TB and maybe a 120gb kingston SSD as your boot drive.

Must he get such a small form factor case? Why not something a little bigger with better airflow and cooling options?

What's your budget in SGD? I can give you a part list from prices at Sim Lim(From Tradepac, they're located at #05-18 and usually have the best prices)

The case is his old case his budget is $1100

CPU/Mobo: ASRock B450M Pro4 + Ryzen 5 2600 - $346

GPU: Zotac RTX 2060 Twin Fan - $518

Cooler: Stock Cooler

PSU: Corsair TX550 550w 80+ gold semi-modular (from his old system)

RAM: 16GB G.Skill RipJaws V 3000mhz - $157

Drives: Crucial MX400 500gb ssd (from his old system), WD Blue 1TB - $55, WD Green 120GB SSD - $33

Case: Tecware Nexus M - $45

Total: $1154

If I were to bargain I'd go for this(if they counter offer with anything that's below the original price then accept it, but if they quote a price higher than what I said then just ask for the regular price)

CPU/Mobo: ASRock B450M Pro4 + Ryzen 5 2600 - $330

GPU: Zotac RTX 2060 Twin Fan - $500

Cooler: Stock Cooler - $0

PSU: Corsair TX550 550w 80+ gold semi-modular - $0

RAM: 16GB G.Skill RipJaws V 3000mhz - $150

Drives: Crucial MX400 500gb ssd - $0, WD Blue 1TB - $55, WD Green 120GB SSD - $32

Case: Tecware Nexus M - $42

Total: $1109

If your friend likes RGB, you can swap out the case for a Tecware Nova M3, it's $55 and has RGB on the front panel.

BTW, Tecware has really good budget cases if you ever need to build another PC. The Tecware VXR is a cheap ripoff of the PCO11 Dynamic, the Tecware Nexus/Nexus M is a cheap ripoff of NZXT's H500 and H400 etc. I've built in their cases before, airflow is decent and build quality is surprisingly good for the price(they use proper tempered glass instead of acrylic).
