Display Port Question?

Are all display port cables the same performance wise? Does it matter what brand or length you get? A display port cable is a display port cable type deal lol. Any input is greatly appreciated thank you!

there are different versions of display port and there are length limits as well, if you just want a low resolution with 60hz any cable will do, if you want something like 4k 120hz you gonna need to look very closely what you buy.
