New Computer Build

Hi im new to building computers and am looking to build a cheap computer for mainly office use and was looking for suggestions on parts.

 

These are the Parts I've come up with so far

CPU: Amd Athlon 200ge

GPU: Vega 3 built in from cpu

MOBO: Asrock a320M-HDV

SSD: WD Green 120gb

HDD: 1tb wd 7200rpm (used from my brother)

RAM: 1x8 2400mhz corsair vengeance 

PSU: 400w 80+ bronze from silverstone

CASE: Masterbox Lite 3 mini

 

Mainly want to know how these specs will hold up for general office use and web browsing as well as some netflix.

Seems fine to me, nothing wrong with it

It will perform okay, but don't expect much, this is bottom of the barrel hardware, it will be snappy and fast with an SSD yes, but don't expect much multitasking etc

I will need to do some multitasking with spreadsheets and word what would you suggest i upgrade to give better multitasking performance?

Atleast a 2200G should perform just fine for that, but upgrade your motherboard to a B450 one, A320 is not supported out of the box.

Ok thanks i'll get a 2200G with a B450 motherboard do you recommend any in particular?

Go with 2x4GB ram as well for dual channel.  A decent 4 dimm slot B450 will allow you to upgrade RAM in the future as well.

The B450 motherboards seem pricey compared to the A320 ones wouldn't i be able to just do a bios update for it? and i forgot to say that i also have a 8gb stick of ram from my brother as well as the hdd sorry.

B450 boards are the same price.  The Gigabyte in my sig was $69.99, and a few others are similar or $10 more.

Ha i wish i could live in a city im out on a rural property at the moment using fixed wireless internet trying to setup my business  i was looking on umart for parts. i dont get amazon where i live.

Jesus, the a320 you want is $70 AUS as well as $70US but the Gigabte B450M-DS3H is $70US but $122AUS.

   

That's ridiculous.  

 

At the least, I'd upgrade to the ASRock B450 for $99 AUS, use that 1x8GB RAM and then get another 1x8GB RAM when you can.  16GB in an office rig will be fine for 5+ years.  We still have machines running 8GB RAM in ours.

Plus, you'll be able to game a bit on that machine too.  The more uses for a machine the better, IMO,
