DisplayPort over USB-C?

One of the laptops that I'm considering replacing my current one with lists the following:

1 x USB 3.0** Type-C (DP & Power Delivery)

1 x USB 3.0** Type-C (DP)

I understand that the first usb-c port would be for charging the laptop. But my question is does the displayport version support 4K at 60hz?

The laptop:

https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/ideapad-700-series/Ideapad-720S-13-AMD/p/88IP70S0929

Because when I refer to the following article, it says displayport supports 4k at 60hz

https://www.displayport.org/displayport-over-usb-c/

However, my assumption was that usb 3.0 only supports 4k up to 30hz and you need at least usb 3.1 to get 4k at 60hz

According to this, there is no distinction between USB versions in terms of there DP capabilities. Based on that I would assume that every DP over USB-C port supports DP 1.2 (i.e. 4k60).

That's what I kind of thought since DP 1.2 supports it. And I hate how they list it as usb 3.0 type c rather than usb 3.1 gen 1 or 2. Makes it so confusing
