So, I’m planning to buy 2 new ram sticks, but I don’t know if they are compatible with my pc.

I have a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P mother board and 2x Crucial 4gb DDR3L-1600 UDIMM CT51264BD160B.

And I want to buy 2 x Mushkin MST3U160BT4G 4gb 1600 Ddr3 rams

But I don’t know if my motherboard can have 2x ddr3L and 2x ddr3

Would be nice if anyone could help me with this.

simple answer: just about any old ddr3 sticks will work. if it fits, it will work.

complex answer: google your motherboard and click the 1st result, usually its product page: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=GA-970A-DS3P and go to the support page, you will find the tested memory section.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!
