Okay, so I am super hyped for this game. I was wondering if there are any pc benchmarks out yet. Also, is the game gonna be gpu bound or cpu bound? It looks very pretty, and it doesn't seem to have 100 enemies on screen at once, so I'm leaning towards gpu, thoughts?

Pretty sure it uses the exact same engine they used for Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3.

So, it'll be pretty looking, but it won't have high end graphics or be very resource heavy.

Also, unless they've drastically changed the way parries and hit detection work, it's likely going to be bound to 60fps on PC same as Dark Souls 3, making it even easier to run it smoothly.

Ryzen 1600x @4GHz

Asus GTX 1070 8GB @1900MHz

16 GB HyperX DDR4 @3000MHz

Asus Prime X370 Pro

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

Noctua NH-U14S

Seasonic M12II 620W

+ four different mechanical drives.

so, I'm getting a rtx 2060 in 2 1/2 weeks, but I'm not getting a CPU upgrade until June. Currently, I have a i5-3550 3.3ghz, do you think I will be able to run this game at 1080p on high settings 60fps?

Can you run Dark Souls 3 well?

If the answer is yes, then I'm 99% sure it's going to be fine. Maybe Sekiro will be a little more demanding, but judging by the trailers, its graphics don't look too much higher-end than Dark Souls 3.

Well... I was a console plebian until about 2 years ago (by that time, I already owned all soulsborne games on ps4 or xbone) So I have no idea.

You can always pirate Dark Souls 3 to try it out if it works.

Or buy it on Steam, play for 30-60 minutes to see if it works, and then refund (you can refund as long as you haven't played longer than 2h).

EDIT: Also, if you have consoles, may as well buy it for console? It's not like you're gonna play it with kb+m anyway. Game is singleplayer so you don't need PS/xbox live anyway.

not a cpu intensive game either, tested with r7 1700 yesterday, nothing caught my attention

, officially recommends 2500k which is same as 3550

a funny statement here, why would you pirate another game for benchmark where you can already get pirate actual game ?

Many people feel bad about pirating games, and since he'd already bought DS3 for consoles, that may ease his guilt. :)

I agree with this moral philosophy, but I would get a virus so fast. I am a very inexperienced pirate.
