games freeezing with new GPU/monitor

OvidiuHiei

Hello, recently i updated my GPU and monitor and ive been experiencing constant crashes on games and freezes.

For example on Devil May Cry 5 i can play with everything in max settings and play with 50-60 fps but after like 30min of gameplay or when i enter a cutscene i start to notice some freezings it gets constantly worse and it will freeze for 5-15 seconds at a time until it eventually freezes on a frame for ages. This also happens on fortnite, the game will randomly freeze out of nowhere in the middle of matches. League of legends seems fine so far never had a problem with it.. ive tried lowering settings on both games and it still occurs so not sure what's the problem

my rig: i5 4460, 8gb ram rx 590 and monitor is a LG 24GM79G-B

Also my monitor for example whenever i leave a league match or something there is a red rectangle on my screen for 1 sec like its configuring something, which gets annoying because the pc slows down a lot during the time (it takes like 3-5 secs) is there any way to get rid of it?

edit: also forgot to say i also tried a few rounds of apex legends and it didnt freeze (it did crash to desktop 2 times though) but this was 3 days ago havent tried since

75 is a bit warm but totally fine, what about cpu? other than that did you notice something eating your resource? like some process hogging cpu time?
