Help overclocking an i7 7700k w/ Corsair h100i v2

Yeah soooo, I’ve been running my pc with a 7700k at stock (4.2) and I recently looked at my performance and my cpu is throttling when rendering video footage (normal) but it’s been taking longer than normal. I figured that overclocking my cpu will boost the performance and if not it will be fun to do lol. Any tips?

the motherboard isn't the best, but try 4.7ghz (47 mult, 100bclk) @ 1.25v, run aida64, if crash, increase to 1.26, if crash, 1.27, etc. If it crashs past  ~1.32v (don't know kaby lake that well), its prob vrm throttleing.

4.8 and above might be iffy becuase vrms.
