So currently I have an ATX case (Fractal Design Focus G), and I can't put it on my desk because it gets in the way of the bottom of the TV, so I was wondering if an mATX case would be worth it to put my computer on my desk, or if that's even possible, because I have 16gb of ram in a 4x4 kit. so is there even an mATX board that supports up to 4 DIMM slots?

Ah so that was a leftover in my PCPartPicker haha good to know.  So yeah same statement I made before only for Intel motherboards this time.  Thankfully the industry is good at making mATX with 4 Ram slots for both brands.
