Thermaltake 9 port tt sync controller

Go to solution Solved by Inelastic,

I run 8 fans off of one with no issue. The amount of current draw of 9 fans isn't going to be anywhere near where you have to worry about the cables or anything and that controller is designed for 9 fans. It's possible it's referring to something specific with the controllers that come with the fans. You won't have any issues with what you want to do.

I bought 9 riing trio 12 fans (3 packs of 3) and bought the 9 port tt sync controller (for the aura sync compatibility). Inside the pack of 3 fans it says that it is recommended that only 5 fans are plugged into one controller that is supported by the molex cable. However i will not be using the given controller and want to plug all 9 fans into the one tt sync controller. Will there be any problems with power being pulled vs the power being provided (power shortage)? My mother board is the asus rog maximus xi hero. Any tips are welcome since i don't have too much experience!

Thanks in advance!
