Reciever problem

Have an old technics reciever.

Works great on Fm, when i switch to aux

one chanell goes silent and cracks when changing volume, i switch to phono and no sound is reproduced only a little when volume is all the way up. What could be the problem?

basically its on its way out...one by one areas are going out....time for a upgrade

I'd suggest taking it apart and giving a good clean with some compressed air and electronics cleaner. Got an old receiver working just fine by doing that.
