Hello Guys,

I have installed Windows 10 1607 on my PC. Since then, my PC does not shutdown completely. Shuts down but fans and lights are still running after shutdown. When press down power button it won't even start back. Have to press the power switch on the PSU to turn it off. I installed 1809 but have been facing stuttering issues even after multiple clean installs. So went back to build 1607. Also I have installed new SSD with my original 1tb HDD as secondary storage.

Below is my PC configuration:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3550 quad core

Ram: 8gb 1600Mhz Adata.

Motherboard: ASUS P8B75-V

SSD: WD Green 256 GB

HDD: WD 1TB 5400RPM

PSU: COOLER MASTER MWE 550

PC CASE: CM 690 II Advanced.

The only reason it may happens (or at least nothing more I can figure out) is that somehow Windows can't finish something proper when shutdown. Try to turn off fast boot and disallow hybrid sleep in Windows. Then restart. Then try to shut down.

May I ask how "multiple" means? 10 times? 20 times? Windows must be clean installed 98 times before works good - everyone knows that. :)

But seriously - why you just don't try to spend the same time on drivers and settings, instead of pointless installing again and again the same system? I bet that 1809 will work good if you configure it proper.
