Vertical phantek gpu mount

Oskar Mcfarlane

So I just got my gpu mount from phanteks  but I noticed that I might have to cut the old grills out to be able to plug in cords to the new vertical setup is this true or am I doing it wrong ?

Aha wow. Yeah just found the manual it's odd that the phanteks kit requires you to cut a phanteks case

Yes as denoted in their page if your case doesn't have an open PCI-E slot region and has horizontal bars you need to modify the case of the bracket to function.

@Oskar Mcfarlane if you don't want to cut your case, consider checking out our vertical PCI-E bracket. It requires no case modding as it moves the GPU towards the front of the case by 3.1cm to allow the angled display cables that we include to route neatly outside of the case. :)
