Hi guys. Currently, I have 750D case, 4930k with H100i and Asus Rampage IV Black Edition.
Currently, my core speed on CPU-Z shows as 1200MHz (sometimes it jumps to like 3000MHz for 0.5 secs randomly) whereas others get like 4000~4500. I want to oc mine to at about 4.4~ with under 70 Celsius, but never tried overclocking before, and I don't know any BIOS settings behind it. Please help.

might want to watch this, just keep in mind your chip performs differently to haswell where it

A. doesn't use thermal compound for the IHS, it it sautered on so you can have your overclock last longer

B. doesn't have voltage regulation on the chip, it has it on the motherboard

So if I want to set my frequency to 4.5, I set the multiplier to 45 and try different cpu voltages? Also, between manual and offset, which one do I chooise for the voltage option? And is there anything else I have to change?  I read some people saying that oc is as easy as just clock frequency with different voltage tries, whereas I also read other people talking about way beyond, such as 1-core ratio limit and stuff. Then I also hear about that cpu overclocking also has to do with ram....... I'm just getting more confused. My ram is 32gb g skill currently running at 1866mhz cl8, xmp enabled. Please help :(
