something wrong with psu?

so randomly my pc fans and ram lights dont work.  Usually with my ram i have to restart my pc and it works.  The ram dosent get detected within corsairs icue until i restart the pc.  The fans i have are corsair ml pro white.  The issue with them is at idle, the lights on them start to dim in and out or just shut off complete.  It started happening just this week but today everything is fine.  I do have a spare psu to swap in if needed to test it but i know i have enough wattage.  I just wana make sure that nothing is gonna happen because im going to be overclocking my gpu and cpu within the next few days.  My pc specs are in the signature below.  Should also add that while gaming, everything is fine it only happens at idle or just surfing the web/watching videos

I don't think its the PSU, i've heard many many times that iCUE can be quite finicky depending on the motherboard/peripherals/RAM combo.

I've had some issues with my M65 Pro and Vengeance RGB RAM at first, reinstalled and update the software, updated the firmware on both devices and the problem vanished.

Sounds more like an issue with Corsair icue software. Try installing the latest version of icue, deleting any lighting themes/profiles set in the program, etc.

but the thing is the fans dont run via icue, they are plugged directly into my mobo only using asus fan expert 4 for speed

Even then, it would be a PSU issue if they were connected via Molex or SATA.
Assuming you're connecting the fans via PWM, if anything, could be the mobo not supplying enough power for them, increase the RPM a tad on Fan Expert and see if they continue doing it.

at max speed they are all fine.  They are also connected via pwm directly to mobo.  only thing that is molex is my pump/res combo

it seems to only happen at lower rpm's

Maybe at lower RPMs the fan headers on the motherboard don't supply enough amps to keep them spinning.

Well, PWM is supposed to use the same voltage and just the pulse width changes.  But the LEDs on the RAM should NOT be running off of a varied PWM signal and should be a constant voltage.  Not even the same voltage.

 

I think this is a problem with the board.  If you turn the LEDs off on the RAM completely, do the fans run normally?

 

How do you have 32GB?  Four 8's or two 16's?

sorry havent been on my pc lately, the problem acually stopped so thats good and also for the ram its 4 8gb sticks
