The Benq EW277HDR or Benq gw2780?

the only reason not to get the ew277hdr would be it has no vesa mount but thats it....it also has 300 nits of brightness vs 250 of the gw2780

i dont need that much refresh rate. I dont want to sacrifice the color accuracy for fast refresh rates

you're not its still a VA panel, I made sure to filter IPS and VA only.

I've seen 1080p at 27 inches and the text is literally pixelated ... i want crisp text with vibrant colours

then 1440p is a better choice, 4k is too small then you need to using windows scaling and everything will look shit.

Hmm, I thought 4k would be better than 1440p because its 4 times the resolution which makes it even. Whereas 1440p is like 1080p and a quarter or a half so the scaling will be off

The ppi for 4k at 27 inches is too high meaning you need to use scaling. With 1440p objects will be smaller but you wont NEED to use scaling, everything will be slightly smaller (than 1080p 24inch) and crisper.

Sure! but it is curved, your PC isnt fast enough to reach 1440p 144hz though so you wont get the full refresh rate while gaming.

Just buy the cheapest 1080p 60hz IPS display then

Or this 75Hz IPS free-sync display
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/68tQzy/aoc-22v2h-215-1920x1080-75-hz-monitor-22v2h

Or this 144hz free-sync display
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/4Hc48d/dell-s2419hgf-240-1920x1080-144-hz-monitor-s2419hgf

Or maybe find a used 4k display
