Hey,

I will have a new computer soon, this one will have an SSD which the OS will be stored on as a boot drive. My question is, can I take my 2TB WD Blue HDD and put it in my new computer as a secondary drive. This HDD does not have an OS stored on it as it was a secondary drive from my old PC, just has games and other software stored on it that I don't want to re download. I'm not really looking for hardware compatibility answers, just if I had the HDD plugged into my PC once the OS was all installed, will I just be able to use the software and games immediately. OR will there be a process to get it all back up and running, OR will I need to wipe the drive.

Any questions for further information I'll gladly answer and thanks in advance for any help.

You should just be able to plug and play for the most part. May take some tinkering, in one place or another
