so this wire is linked to the PSU and gives no user control. In other words, not addressable. This should be the pump wire then, with no speed control on that.

but just in case, can you unplug it and check the CPU temperatures on whether it heats up quickly?

I recently purchased an Ibuypower desktop. I would like to change the colors or turn off the CPU cooler. I have the "ibuypower 120mm addressable RGB liquid cooling system". I'm new to pc's so this could be a fairly easy fix, I could just be missing something. I've looked everywhere to install drivers and programs, but no luck. If anyone has any tips or information on how I can change the colors or turn the RGB off it would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a box at the back of the case, with wires connecting to the cooler and a USB 2.0 header on the bottom left of the motherboard? That will be your RGB controller in that case, just unplug the wire connecting the cooler to it and you're done.

Would this be the spot on the motherboard you are talking about? Also, the wire coming directly out of the RGB CPU cooler head is the thin wire hooked to the other cable.
