hello everyone

I have a question, my father and his friend organise a local event, and they want to use a greenscreen to let people take pictures in front of a greenscreen

now with that they want to live add in a background on that greenscreen and print it out directly (and if possible even see the greenscreen as what it will be live)

they already have a greenscreen, photoshop (if needed, is cc2015 iirc tho), a camera and a screen, all we now need is the software that goes with it

are there any (if possible) free solutions to this?

I believe there are iSO (and presumably Android) apps that allow you to do this, but I'm not sure if it's possible with your equipment. What camera are you using?

Any chance you could connect the camera to a computer as an external camera? I feel like this is something that would have to be done on another device, not on the camera itself.

it does have mini-hdmi and usb, but i'm not sure how i would connect it with another program... I don't have mini-hdmi to check, but iirc you can't do it via usb

maybe snapbridge can do something to connect it?

i think you can chromakey with OBS? that could work for a live preview

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

that's something i can start on trying... tho they mention that you need to have a strong cpu for it

do you know how strong? like 8600k strong? or 2330m strong?

you can lower the output resolution and filters and all that untill it works well. I dont know how good of an CPU you will need but i would assume something like a quadcore I5 or so should do the job
