Accessing server from main pc

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

what os is it running? rdp for windows and ssh for linux. You can enable rdp in windows in sysdm.cpl under the remote tab (type it in run, also called system configuration)

Hello friends
long story short I have a PC I've opted to turn into a machine to run game servers and I'd like to tuck it in a corner in my room and be able to not have to have a separate monitor etc to access it.
So, I'm a scrub when it comes to networking - even if it's only over LAN and I need advice on how to accomplish this.
I'm not illiterate with technology, but when you explain whatever advice you can provide please use some basic language haha

TL;DR: want to access another PC over LAN and not in a file access kinda way.

If I was confusing or vague, ask me and I'll clarify.
