check how much 8GB of used DDR3 will cost you and also comparing to DDR4 prices first, if your region doesnt have good deals here, it's better to just start over on a DDR4 platform.

old enough to go when changing platforms

RX 570/580 because 1060 6gb are too darn costly in most places, except when it isn't of which you should go Nvidia

not a problem tbh since you can manage the hardware side of things with OC tools like Afterburner. Nvidia's Control Panel is as bad if not worse than AMD Wattman

The Affinity programs have only minimal requirements. Is Sketch the same as SketchUp? If so, the SketchUp recommended hardware is:

Recommended hardware

  • 2+ GHz processor
  • 8+ GB RAM
  • 700MB of available hard-disk space
  • 3D class video card with 1 GB of memory or higher and support for hardware acceleration. Please ensure that the video card driver supports OpenGL 3.0 or higher and is up to date.
SketchUp's performance relies heavily on the graphics card driver and its ability to support OpenGL 3.0 or higher. To test your graphics card's compatibility, please download and run the SketchUp Checkup application. Historically, people have seen problems with Intel-based cards with SketchUp. We don't recommend using these graphics cards with SketchUp at this time.

It looks like the gaming requirements will dictate your recommended hardware.

Yes I meant SketchUP,  if its possible to avoid building new pc ... I will avoid it, but I also dont want scenario that gpu will be bottlenecked ... ? I dont spend too much time gaming now ... and as I said  I play mostly Apex, PUBG, DOTA 2 .... but there is also dilema "is it worth to invest in graphic card to this PC ? "  from economic side of thing....  to be honest am confused   ?.
