Airflow speed limits?

Go to solution Solved by fluxdeity,

Your case will pull the air in from wherever else it can. What you can do is get a program to change fan speeds if they are PWM, or try changing the speeds in BIOS/UEFI.

My case now has 2 temperature probe controlled 80mm fans at the back pushing air out and 2 92mm fans at the front pulling air in.  My problem is the 80mm temp probbed fans ramp up to 2400 rpm when my GPU gets hot but my old Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Mobo does not ramp up the 92mm fans past 1400rpm ever.

1400rpm in

Do you think the presence of the 1400 rpm fans is throttling airflow coming in at all slowing down how fast the other 2 fans can pull air out?
