Hi all!

I have a MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard paired with the Ryzen 5 2600 CPU. I am looking for a 'budget' ram for my system.

I was thinking about the G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16gb 3000 MHz (2x8) or the G.Skill Aegis 16gb 3000 MHz (2x8)... Are these compatible with what I have? I personally like RGB so I think I am willing to pay the extra bucks for the trident z rgb...

They are not in the QVL (those are too expensive ?)

Thank you for your help! :)

Depends on if the board is on the latest AGESA version or not. AGESA 1.0.0.4 and 1.0.0.6 have a lot more RAM compatibility options than the version that originally shipped with the boards.
