hi,

not sure if this is the right department or not so sorry in advance.

my problem is that a few days ago my vidoe and gaming picture starting getting these strange glowing edges.it happens where there is (i suppose)a 'shine' on the picture/game/movie.

it does not happen in any other application other than moving vidoe or games.

please help.

p;s; i have changed NO setting anywhere on any hardware or software.

cheers

Might be backlight bleeding? Is this primarily visible on darker scenes?

Picture of the problem? Your explanation is a bit confusing..

sorry, its hard to explain.its like when your watching a movie and something catches the light instead of it being a proper light its a wierd glow with like a pinkish and sometimes a greenish tint.

i think so yes.im worried its my monitor showing signs of old age.it started lagging in game when you look up into the sky and the screen goes very bright and then adjusts to the correct picture.

You might want to go into settings on your monitor, and disable any "auto" features.
