WINDOWS ON MAC

i own is a macbook pro and i wanted to install windows on it since i have not been able to adjust to a macbook pro and i just want windows i have another laptop but that has a core i3 (yuck!!) and the mac has a core i7 and i want just install windiws on in and i know about bootcamp all i want to know if i can delete the windows key on my old laptop and use that key to install windows on my mac

before you ask why i would rather use a mac than buy a new windows laptop well simple since it already has been maxed out with 16gb of ram 250gb ssd and 1 tb hdd

Depends on how old your other laptop is. If the key is printed on a sticker on the device you should be able to do that.

You are likely not able to transfer the windows key from another laptop. They re normally tied to hardware for individual keys.

 

For the other part you need a new bootloader, then you should be able to just install windows over your current installation. I would advise you though that you are still going to need the bootcamp drivers, and they are not always the most up to date pieces of software.

there's no key below it
