First time building gaming pc

Hello everyone, I've decided to build a PC since my previous one died(it was 11 years old xd )
There are next to none PC shops in my country, the few ones that exist have almost double the prices from Amazon, so I found a guy in my area who builds PCs and I think the price is reasonable

He recommended me this:
Cpu: ryzen 7 2700x
Gpu: used asus turbo 1080ti with 2 years warranty 
Mobo: aurous b450m gaming
Ram: 8gb gskill 3000mhz (I plan to add another one in few months)
Storage: 1tb hdd and I plan to put m2 ssd not sure which one is best price-performance
Psu: LC power 600w 80+gold
Case: ms Aquarius pro

Can you recommend me some 24-27 inch 2k or 1080p monitors, used or new, I don't wanna spend too much money for monitor if it's possible
My primary goal is long-term 1080p and 2k gaming, with some graphic design, what would you change? Price of this would be 1300$. Do you think this configuration is worth 1300$?

Maybe you might need a bit more RAM. 

 

For monitor I would recommend the viewsonic xg2401 for good 144hz 1080p gaming

 

 

price wise, it's pretty good btw (especially for the cpu)

Drop CPU to a r5 2600. no need to spend extra on the 2700x. 

 

grab a mx500 500GB SSD from Crucial. they are a steal atm. 

 

a good monitor would be the 24,5 inch AOC 2460PX
