PC suddenly stopped working

Go to solution Solved by IAmAndre,

So after further testing it seems like the PSU is dead.

Hi

So I was using my PC and it just turned off with no warning. Nothing happened when I tried to turn it back on so I opened the case, disconnected the GPU from the PSU and it looked like it would work again but then it stopped after just a few seconds. I took out the GPU and tried again and nothing happened. Now I've tried a few combinations but nothing seems to work. Sometimes I can see the PSU fan spin for a second but nothing else is moving. Sometimes the GPU fans spin for a second instead.

I'm not sure what's going on. I built this PC last December and it was working fine until today. The only issue I've had was that sometimes I'd get a black screen for a second at times, similar to the one you have when launching a game. This resulted in a reboot once but the issue kinda disappeared after I screwed the GPU.

Do you have a system speaker? Or a error code board to identify any motherboard problems.

Is the system speaker supposed to be on the motherboard on on the case. I haven't plugged all the case cables so this might be why I don't hear any signal.
