OK so my macpro is my backup PC for my media and when i go to the network tab on windows its not their yet i can still remote into it, and my window NAS sees it on its network tab. im so confused about this, also i check the IP address and it never change

Windows can be kinda crappy with this since it is an SMB share.

Can you navigate to the share by computername? Just type \\MacPro into the file explorer.

If so, you can map the drive and create a persistent connection.

Yeah I did that it’s bugs me a bit not showing up in the network tab
