Hoping to get some help from the kind people on this forum.

I got the wasabi mango UHD430 after seeing linus' video on.

However, been having some issues with it when trying to run 4k 120Hz

Half the screen starts to flicker like crazy (I've attached a screen shot).

This doesn't happen at other resolutions running 120Hz, only @ 4k.

Anyone knows if there's a solution to this or did I get a defective panel?

I'm using a vesa certified DP1.4 cable connected to my PC with RTX 2080 ti asus strix.

I've had similar issues with my MU6100, i changed the cables and the problem disappeared.

I'm not saying it will be the solution for sure, but have you tried a different cable?

Do you have both DisplayPort cables attached? If I recall the Wasabi Mango uses two DisplayPort cabes for 4k120Hz.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for the replies. Yes I've tried single and dual DP cables. Neither config works. I don't have a different cable to try in the mean time.

The cables are https://www.amazon.com/Club3D-CAC-2068-DisplayPort-Cable-6-56ft/dp/B0767F5DNR/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=displayport+1.4&qid=1551441169&s=electronics&sr=1-3

which seems to have pretty good reviews and can run 4k at 120Hz.

If I understand correctly, I only need a single DP cable to run 4k at 120Hz sdr (can see linus is running it off a single cable). But HDR will require dual DP cables.
