So I'm mostly just curious to see if any one else familiar with ursa mini and there compressed raw formats. I personally shoot in 3:1 raw most of the time but 4:1 takes up so much less space. I haven't really tried it, is there a large drop in picture quality? obviously it still lets you adjust iso/ color temperature and such, but how much does it affect the dynamic range? is there anything else aside dynamic range that it would effect?

Don't Judge my spelling I'm dyslexic

Depends on the camera. If you're using insane cameras like LTT with their RED camera then you could easily shoot at 20:1 compression. Low end cameras will see a larger drop in quality since 3:1 on that might be equivalent to 15:1 on a super high end camera. For what it's worth give it a shot. Try shooting the same thing in 3:1 and 4:1 and see if you can spot the difference, and if you do, whether that difference is acceptable to you.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
