CPU for Steam Machine

I'm planning on building a Steam Machine using some spare parts I have lying around and was trying to find the right CPU for it. So far all I need is the case, motherboard and CPU. I'm looking around for mITX cases and I'm interested in the 250D but it's looking a little expensive. Motherboard I'm not sure on yet, but I have a few I'm looking at. My main problem is the CPU. At first I was looking at an i5 3570k/4670k but decided that they were too expensive for a Steam Machine and that most games won't take real advantage of it's power. 

 

I'm willing to spend around £100 on the CPU, something that will go well with a GTX 670. 

 

Spare parts I have: 

GTX 670

2x4GB 1600MHz RAM

Corsair CX 600M

500GB WD Blue HDD 2.5"

I'll probably be using the stock CPU cooler, but I may buy a Hyper 212 Evo or something similar.

8320?  Little over £100 but micro only.  Intel 4340 seems alright for miniITX.

either an fx6300 or a core i3 4xxx. also, maybe if you already have a gaming PC, ditch the powerfull GPU, and make this more of a box to stream to :)

I would say Athlon II X4 760K along with a Mini-ITX board and a Cooler Master Elite 130 or a Fractal Design Node 304 if you want a Hyper 212 EVO.
