Depends on the laptop's HDMI output capabilities. It has the hardware to do so, but then it's not uncommon for these prebuilts to screw up somewhere else so it loses features. Sadly it doesnt say so in the website.

Both the iGPU on the CPU and the MX150 can decode 4K movies in h265; I believe the iGPU at least can do high bitrate h265 at that.

The website doesn't specifically state what type of HDMI port it has, but my assumption is that you can output 2160p at 60Hz, considering that it's got USB 3.1 support.

i'm sorry, i'm lost at that part.

what did you mean by that?

does it mean i should plug a USB 3.1 cable from my laptop to my 4k tv to output 2160p at 60Hz?

No, I mean it should have an HDMI port that supports 2160p at 60Hz. Sorry if I didn't make it clearer, but I meant that my guess would be that it would support 2160p60 considering its feature set.

Mediocre in what term? Build quality?

Which model did you suggest?

My budget are below that model.

I can't find any laptops that offered Intel i5 and Nvidia mx150 with that price which is below $500 (direct convert from my countries currency).
