Any important difference between these two 1tb hdd's?

Jakers038

I'm deciding between a Seagate ST1000DM010 vs Toshiba P-300, both are 1TB, both are 3'5, both are 7200RPM and both are 64MB and the price is basically the same. Is there something I'm perhaps missing that gives an advantage to one or the other?

The purpose would be mainly storing a bunch of triple A games and perhaps some textures (for 3d modeling) and videos, but mainly it would be about games, so is there any difference between these two as far as gaming is concerned?

+400gb SSD's are extremely expensive in my country due to our low salaries, but these HDD's are 64MB and should give me enough space, so they are as far as my pocket reaches for now, I am just looking to decide which one out of them two to choose.

Not much difference specification wise between the two, but the Seagate BarraCuda has substantially better reviews. Seems the Toshiba has quality control issues, with DOA or premature death of the drive being common issues.

Because of this, I would opt for the Seagate ST1000DM010.
