I have extremely, extremely limited experience with Excel, but I was just wondering if it was possible to input data from a website into Excel, who's contents may change.

I'm trying to make shopping lists with cells keeping prices constantly updated and then you add a sum function at the end to total

This is certainly possible. Here is a link that I think would point you in the right direction: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/24285/use-online-data-in-excel-2010-spreadsheets/

I believe Amazon API would also be possible if you wanted to take that route.

I think it would be a better use of your time to just use a online price tracker like this one: https://camelcamelcamel.com/ - You'll also be able to get graphs of the price history.

Thanks, it's true that camelcamel is probably more time efficient, but now I guess I'm just interested in a mini project.

Getting web data from Amazon certainly works, but since the Excel browser is IE, websites like Newegg do not work properly. Can I change the browser, or am I just locked to certain websites.
